When creating the SunChild deck, I wanted to create an affirmation deck that children of all ages could connect to. Our cards hold three layers. The I am statement, which becomes the children magic word of the day. A clear image of nature and help illustrate the meaning of the cards. And finally thought of the day which connects the child to have a deeper understanding, that they are nature capable of anything. This means that however, old your child is they will always take what they need for the deck. 0-3 may just connect with the beautiful images and be inspired with a love for the outdoor. 3-5 will take the I am statement see that affirmative words as their own and which they can hold in their pocket all day. SunChild deck was created using only love every step of the way. When creating the deck, I always came back to what would myself as a child need, the answer is love, and if I needed to hear that, then so many other children must. The cards are consciously created taking the Vedic wisdom and putting it in language children could resonate with. The art has all been handpainted every step of the way, as when something is homemade, it holds a higher vibration, and we can feel how much love has been put into the making. We used only recycled paper, as our ethos is to love our plant and donate 5% of profits to 'Feel the Magic' charity.

Childhood trauma can affect so many adults, as so much of who we are today stems from the impression in childhood. This is why we must empower and support children from the start so that they have the tools they need to support their wellbeing later on in life. If we were taught when we were young how to be grateful and love ourselves no matter what, how much better would our life be?
